Spent this morning working cows at uncle Johan and aunt Janes.
One of my favorite things to do by the way. Getting them vaccinated! Protected from flys-pour on and fly tags Number tags (if needed) Castrated weaned males with burdizzo Here around Lively H we normally pick one week to do all the cows and it has to be a rainy week because if it's dry everyone is in the fields... Question: Have you ever ran in the mud>? Yeah doesn't work out well when sorting or pushing cattle in pen towards chute but no boots were lost today nor anyone face planted.. and even better no cows were missed... (although some TRIED to escape) Happy Wednesday On to more tomorrow !
