Lamb chops
Sold out
This is probably not the best time to tell you all this. But my first lamb I named him, "chops". He started my sheep journey, I eventually sold him but he still holds a special place in my heart, as for all my flock does. Pasture to plate has been a dream of mine. Someone the other day asked me how are you okay letting lambs go to meat production, doesn't it make you sad? My answer was simple no, its a circle of life. I put a lot of work into all of my flock and the outcome is rewarding. If I was selling them to a stockyard they still could end up in meat production. With that being said I want you all to know where your food comes from, I want you to see the stories, the lifestyle, the work. I want you to know everything from the pasture to plate. At the end of the day no livestock=no food, no farmers=no food. Thank a farmer.

Lamb Shoulder Steak

Honestly, I believe salt and pepper sometimes is the only addition needed to meat just as I did to this shoulder steak. I paired with my granny's homemade bread sauce.

You can eat just as is or add a tortilla, and you can even some queso.
