Post #1 of 2 Update on the cow that was calving today. This afternoon was tough, but part of the farm life. After finding this sweet girl in the barn, close to calving I decided to keep an eye on her. She was pretty close to herd, and normally cattle seclude themselves near calving. I watched her water break today, after getting up and down. You can say I was her labor "coach" today! (cheering her on, go momma go) I love watching! (see the video if you want) Literally got my phone just in time! I was hoping to get a video of calving for you guys but things didn't work out that way.. See post #2 "Update on calving #2"
