So as many of you know Lively H Farms is all about No-Till farming and has been since papa started farming here in the United States!
The University of Kentucky is conducting a study testing nutrient run off in no-till fields! This is a 10 year study and one of the locations is right here at Lively H Farms! The boys have been busy building berms with NRCS to control the flow of water into the measuring apparatus! There are 4 flumes, with 2 berms on each side! This project is funded by the USDA! I am excited to see the results of this project! Here are a few photos so far, cannot wait to show you all more and fill you in with more information! Stay tuned!
